About MacCloud · Founded in 2024

Let every developer have access to dedicated Mac cloud computing power

We only do one thing: make it affordable and useful for developersA truly cloud-based Mac——Not an emulator, not a shared virtual machine, but your exclusive physical Apple Silicon machine with a predictable network experience.

what problem are we solving

  1. our mission

Cloud computing has changed the way software is developed, but developers in the Apple ecosystem have long faced a pain point: running native macOS workloads in the cloud is expensive and complex.

MacCloud’s mission is to remove this barrier. We source Apple M4 Mac Minis directly and deploy them in strategic data centers around the world, giving developers access to a truly dedicated physical Mac for less than $40 a day through an automated platform.

  2. Why choose physical machine

The licensing agreement for macOS does not allow running in a virtualized environment (except on Apple Silicon hardware), which means that a truly stable and compliant Mac cloud service must be based on real Mac hardware.

We don't take shortcuts. Each MacCloud instance is a real Mac Mini—no sharing, no virtualization, and all CPU, GPU, memory, and SSD performance exclusive to you.

How do we think about “Mac on the cloud”

Real hardware is a prerequisite

On x86 and Linux clouds, minute-by-minute billing and elastic scaling have long been commonplace; but in the Apple ecosystem, the prerequisite for running macOS workloads in compliance isreal hardware. Many teams have been forced to purchase their own machines, build their own computer rooms, or pay high hosting fees for short build peaks - time spent on operations and maintenance rather than product.

Heavy assets and automation

MacCloud has chosen the "heavy asset + automation" route from the first day: unified procurement and quality inspection, standardized listing process, observable activation and work order system, leaving the complexity on the platform side,Predictable computing power and connectivityHand it over to the customer. We believe that when prices and delivery times are transparent, developers can confidently move CI, signature, multimedia and AI experiments to the cloud.

Just as worry-free as ordinary cloud hosts

Today, thousands of developers are using our services in Asia Pacific and North America nodes. We are still expanding document, blog and console capabilities to make "opening a Mac" as hassle-free as "opening an ordinary cloud host" - while retaining the compliance and experience that the Mac ecosystem should have.

What you can get from MacCloud

  • Model and configuration:The Apple M4 series Mac Mini provides different memory and SSD specifications; it can be ordered on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to meet both trial and long-term project rhythms.
  • Network and IP:Solution level annotation 1Gbps bandwidth vs.Exclusive IP, which facilitates whitelisting, certificates and third-party service callbacks; nodes cover Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and the western United States, reducing latency nearby.
  • Connection method:Use your instance through SSH and VNC; the console displays connection information and order status in a centralized manner, and important operations can be connected to the work order process for easy tracking and collaboration.
  • Optional capabilities:SSD expansion, Thunderbolt parallel connection and other options are available for larger storage or specific multi-machine collaboration scenarios (subject to the actual options on the order page).

Ordering and Fulfillment Methods

We try to make the "order → payment → delivery" path short and clear.

  • Supports browsing and configuration without logging in; you can also place an order first, and then follow the prompts to complete registration and order association.
  • The payment is connected to mainstream third-party payment channels; after the payment is successful, the contract fulfillment and activation process will be entered, and the progress can be viewed on the console.
  • Subscription cycles (such as monthly, quarterly) and one-time cycles (such as daily) are clearly distinguished on the price page to avoid misunderstandings about automatic renewal.
  • After-sales and troubleshooting are completed through the help center, blog and work orders; we continue to condense high-frequency issues into searchable documents.

Global node layout

The same console manages multiple regional instances, which facilitates overseas business, multi-regional testing and disaster recovery drills. The following are the main service areas (specific inventory and routes are subject to the order page).

  • 🇸🇬SingaporeSoutheast Asia hub
  • 🇯🇵JapanEast Asia low latency
  • 🇰🇷South Korealocal business
  • 🇭🇰HongkongGreater Bay Area
  • 🇺🇸American WestNorth America coverage

We pay attention to power, network redundancy and physical security on the data center side; on the software side, we continue to strengthen authentication, logs and access control, and are consistent with the commitments in the "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Service".

Typical usage scenarios

The following are common paradigms only, actual usage depends on your tool chain and compliance requirements.

CI/CD and self-hosted runners

Run Xcode builds, unit tests, and archives on native macOS, and connect to GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or self-built schedulers; use the CPU/GPU exclusively to avoid queuing and interference from shared runners.

iOS / macOS Signing and Publishing

Manage certificates and description files in a controlled environment, and connect tools such as Fastlane and App Store Connect API to shorten the feedback cycle from submission to release.

Remote development and desktop sessions

Graphical debugging through SSH and VS Code Remote, or through VNC, extends the "Mac at a fixed workstation" into a workspace that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.

Testing, multimedia and experimental workloads

Tasks that are sensitive to the kernel and drivers, such as end-to-end testing, audio and video transcoding, and Metal-related experiments, are more suitable to run on physical machines to reduce the uncertainty caused by the virtualization layer.
